By scheduling or delaying a Facebook post, you can ensure that it's delivered at exactly the right time, even if you otherwise cannot add it yourself. However, only Facebook Page administrators can schedule a post to their page; you can't schedule or delay a post to your personal timeline. If you manage a Facebook page, however, you can delay posts for that feed until a later date, even months in advance.

To schedule a post, switch to page administration mode. Go to your Facebook page and select the option to post using the page's name (located under the menu bar.) Once you've switched modes, enter your post in the field as usual, but, instead of clicking "Post," click the clock-shaped symbol which displays a calendar button. Use this to pick the post's date and time, then click "Schedule" and the post will be delayed until the specified time.
