If you use a laptop as your primary computer, you may wish to connect your laptop to a larger external monitor in addition to using your laptop's display. There are different ways to configure a dual laptop monitor display. The traditional method is to use an extended display, which extends the desktop across two monitors. However, if you want to display identical content on your laptop and your external monitor, configure the display as a mirrored display. This can be done through display settings in Windows.
Step 1
Open the "Control Panel" on your computer. To do this, click the "Start" button in the bottom left-hand corner of your computer. Then select "Control Panel."
