Deleting a Websense password allows it to be reset.
Websense is a commonly used security gateway software, typically found in public schools to prevent children from accessing adult-oriented websites. This also can be used in the privacy of a home, and a password allows you to circumvent the barrier to access incorrectly blocked websites. However, if you have forgotten the password to the Websense software, you can delete a file on the computer to delete the password and then reset it.
Step 1
Open "My Computer" by double-clicking the icon on the desktop.

Double-click the drive representing the computer. For most users, this is the C drive.
Step 3
Double-click "Program Files," then "Websense" and then "bin."
Step 4
Delete the "config.xml" file.
