How Do I Set/Add New Channels in a Philibao Free to Air?

Philibao is a free-to-air (FTA) digital satellite receiver that allows you to view free channels on your television. Like most other FTA systems, Philibao doesn't require any subscription. You can add channels on your Philibao receiver by using the remote provided to you when you bought the receiver. You can use the "Other Channels" option to start getting channels like BBC, ITV, Ch4, E4, More4, Five and much more.

Step 1

Turn on your Philibao receiver.

Press the "Services" button on your remote.

Step 3

Use the arrow buttons to choose the number 4, which points to "System Setup."

Use the arrow buttons to choose number 4 once again, which points to "Add Channels."

Step 5

Enter "10.773" next to "Frequency."

Use the arrow buttons to toggle the following selections: Choose "H" for "Polarisation." Choose "22000" for "Symbol Rate." Choose "5/6" for "FEC."

Step 7

Use the arrow buttons to choose "Find Channels." Your Philibao receiver will scan for new channels and add them to your list.
