The Euro symbol is the character used to depict the single currency of the European Union. Beginning with Windows 95, Microsoft provided several means for users to type or insert a Euro symbol. These methods apply to Microsoft Office applications as well, such as Microsoft Outlook. You can use a character code to type the Euro symbol in an Outlook message or insert it from the Symbols menu.
