The Internet Explorer Web browser downloads and manages all SSL certificates on your computer into the same location. These certificates are managed through the Internet Options screen within the browser. If you want to determine whether you're looking at an SSL 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0 version certificate, you can find out this information by viewing the specific certificate in this screen.
Step 1
Right-click the "Internet Explorer" icon. By default, this icon is on your desktop and will remain there unless you delete it. Click "Internet Options." The Internet Options window opens. You can also access the Internet Options window through Internet Explorer's "Tools" menu.
