By default, the Amino TV set top box is designed to automatically grab an IP address using the DHCP settings on your wireless router. However, if you have customized your router settings to rely on static IP addresses rather than randomly assigned DHCP addresses, you will need to configure the Amino by entering the IP address manually. Using the Amino's wireless keyboard, you can do this by accessing its Network Configuration options. The process should only take about a minute or so.
Step 1
Turn the power on for the wireless keyboard by pressing the power button in the top-right corner of the keyboard.

Turn on the Amino set top box and turn on the TV.

Press "ALT"+"M" on the wireless keyboard when the Amino splash page appears on the TV.

Type the Read Management password. If you haven't reset this already, use the default "leaves" password.

Select the "Network Configuration" option and then select "Do Not Use" DHCP Info menu.
Step 6
Type the static IP address to be used by the device into the "IP Address" input box, such as "192.168.0.X," with X being a unique number on your network accepted by the router.

Click the "Trusted Domains" link.
Step 8
Type the IP address or Host Name for the Amino Portal Server. Do not include the http:// prefix.
Step 9
Click the "Macrovision"; and "JavaScript" check boxes to enable these services.
Step 10
Navigate to the "OK" button on the TV screen using the keyboard arrows, and then press the "Enter" key to save the settings. A dialog box asks you to enter the Write Password. Type "snake" here, unless you have changed this password. Press "Enter."
