More states are enacting laws requiring drivers to use hands-free technology when talking on their phones. Being able to use your cell phone hands-free while driving allows you to keep your eyes on the road. Lexus began offering Bluetooth technology in its vehicles in 2003. Today, your car's Bluetooth feature is compatible with nearly every cell phone model, and it allows you access to many of its features, such as the address book, through the touch screen on your stereo/navigation system. Pairing a cell phone with your Lexus takes only a few minutes.
Step 1
Make sure the Bluetooth feature is active on your phone and it is ready to pair with a new device. This is usually found under the "Settings" or "Network" menu on your phone.
