The Sony Audio Control Center is an audio receiver that connects directly to most audio source devices, ranging from a television to a Blu-ray player and even a CD player. There are three different cable connections available, so you will be able to use one of these options to connect your equipment to the Sony Audio Control Center. Once the equipment is connected, the receiver automatically plays audio from the connected audio equipment.
Step 1
Plug the HDMI cable into one of the "HDMI Out" ports on the television or other high definition audio/video device. Plug the other end of the cable into an "HDMI In" port on the Sony Audio Control Center.

Step 2
If you do not have an HDMI connection on your audio source, attach the digital optical audio cable into the "Digital Audio Out" port on the audio device. Insert the opposite end into the "Digital Audio In" port on the Sony Audio Control Center.
Step 3
If you do not have a digital audio or an HDMI port on your audio device, plug the red and white RCA audio cables into the "Audio Out" connection ports on the audio source device. RCA is the lowest quality audio connection, so it should be your third and last option. Connect the other ends of the cables into the "Audio In" ports on the Sony Audio Control Center.
Step 4
Audio from your audio device should now be playing from the Sony Audio Control Center.
