Converting a Net10 cell phone to work with Straight Talk service is possible by switching the SIM card of the Net10 phone with an active SIM card of a Straight Talk phone. The SIM card is a small card inside the phone that contains all the service information for that phone, and switching SIM cards transfers the phone service. Switching the SIM card in a phone sounds like a difficult and technical task, but in reality, it's as easy as changing a phone's faceplate. The process does not require any tools and only takes a couple of minutes to complete.
Step 1
Turn the phone off. Since you are removing the battery, it's best that you properly shut the phone down before the battery is removed to prevent any phone damage. Repeat this step for the other phone.

Step 2
Slide your fingernail or a credit card between the crease in the middle of the phone to open the battery chamber and remove the battery. Repeat this step for the other phone.
Step 3
Push the SIM card down with your finger and release it. The SIM card then pops up, indicating it is free to be removed. Pull the SIM card out of its position. Repeat this step for the other phone. Insert the Straight Talk SIM card into the Net10 phone.
