HP computers run different versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system depending on when they were manufactured. Windows is designed to support multiple user accounts. Each user account maintains its own set of files, settings and permissions, and is set up to be secure by default so that the user's files are kept private from other users on the system. You can create a new user on an HP computer to take advantage of account separation.
