Portable Document Format (PDF) files are a type of conversion file viewable with only a PDF reading program. To create a PDF file you need a PDF writing program, such as Adobe Acrobat. In addition to PDF creation, the Acrobat programs (Standard, Pro and Suite) have a variety of PDF editing tools. Among these tools are several annotation features, such as "Sticky Notes," which allow you to add comments to the PDF. These annotations may be deleted, if necessary, by following a few steps.
Step 1
Launch Adobe Acrobat and open the PDF file that contains the annotations that you want to delete. Note that the following process works with all versions of Acrobat (Standard, Pro and Suite), as well as all types of annotations.
