Like many computers, your Asus system may display a splash screen or another image when it is booting up. Because the splash screen covers up important information during the Power On Self Test (POST) that runs prior to boot, you may prefer that the computer does not display the Asus screen. You can disable it by changing certain settings in the BIOS configuration. Changing the options in the BIOS is simple; however, making other changes to BIOS settings can be harmful to your system.
Step 1
Click "Start" and select "Shut down." Allow your computer to shut down completely and wait approximately 30 seconds.
