Deleting the text message history on your Samsung cell phone can help make more of your phone's memory available. Some Samsung cell phones require that you delete old text messages in order to receive new text messages. Instead of going through your text messages and spending the time to delete them one by one, you can delete the entire text history with the push of a few buttons.
