The first thing that you will need to do before you can find email addresses on MySpace, is to go to "http://www.myspace.com/" and set up an account. If you already have an account with MySpace, then log in with your email and password. If you don't have a MySpace account, click on the "Sign Up" option on the top, right-hand corner. Simply follow all the steps by entering in the information asked for and then click on the "Sign Up" button at the bottom of the page. You now have your own MySpace account that you can specialize with a plethora of features, and you are also now ready to be able to search for email addresses.

Now that you're signed in, the next thing you will want to do is find your friends or those whose emails you wish to obtain. This step also works if you already have an email of a friend and you are just looking to find their MySpace page. First, scroll over the "Friends" option on the top tool bar. The advanced options in the "Set Browse Criteria" section may be even more helpful for you to narrow down your search. After you have the friend or friends you were looking for, you will need to add them as a friend. It is doubtful that their email will be made public without being a friend. Once accepted as a friend you can message a friend to ask them if they wouldn't mind sharing their email with you.

A couple of other alternative that you can try, include trying to find more friends by inviting them to MySpace through your email contacts. Go to the "Friends" option on the top tool bar, and scroll down to click on the "Invite Friends" option. On this page you can find and invite friends by using their email addresses, which will automatically send them an invitation email. Another option that you can use if you are still having problems finding someone is to do a search through the search engine at the top of the page. You can use the drop-down menu beside the search function to specify the search with either "People" or "MySpace."

If you are still having problems finding friends after all of those steps and options, you can try searching through forums, top blogs, and schools. These options are located in the "More" option of the top tool bar. With these options you can also find people you may not know as well as close friends. Also, please keep in mind that your best and safest bet at purposefully obtaining one's email is by messaging them. If you are trying to contact a company or public relations of a band, you can always trying emailing the band to ask for a contact email.
