Keeping phone screens clean is a challenge. They are constantly handled with greasy fingers and are exposed to dirty elements. Also, grease may collect on the screen when it touches your face and ear. There is a correct way to go about properly cleaning a phone screen without damaging the phone's internal components. Home products will suffice. Investing in the right materials will ensure the phone screen will not scratch or become permanently dull.
Step 1
Remove dust that has formed a film on the screen with a dry, microfiber soft cloth. Use a cotton swab to go around the phone screen to remove dirt and grease that has settled in between the panel crevices and keys.

Step 2
Dampen the clean microfiber cloth with 60/40 mixture of water and alcohol. Refrain from using paper towels, your shirt or even tissue paper as the harshness of material can cause permanent fine scratches on the screen.
Step 3
Delicately wipe the phone screen down two to three times in a horizontal fashion to remove grease or dirt.
Step 4
Invest in adhesive screen protectors to prevent grease from adhering to the phone screen. Cut the adhesive to size so that it fits the entire length of the screen and stick it to the screen.
