Also, grease may collect on the screen when it touches your face and ear. There is a correct way to go about properly cleaning a phone screen without damaging the phone's internal components. Home products will suffice. Investing in the right materials will ensure the phone screen will not scratch or become permanently dull.

Step 1

Remove dust that has formed a film on the screen with a dry, microfiber soft cloth. Use a cotton swab to go around the phone screen to remove dirt and grease that has settled in between the panel crevices and keys.

Dampen the clean microfiber cloth with 60/40 mixture of water and alcohol. Refrain from using paper towels, your shirt or even tissue paper as the harshness of material can cause permanent fine scratches on the screen.
