Internet Protocol, also known as IP, is a communication protocol which heavily uses the TCP/IP standards for packet switch internetworking. IP manages addressing methods for data encapsulation and delivery. IP was developed by the United States Department of Defense and is now widely used by the public. IP Version 4 is the fourth version of Internet Protocol and the first one to be deployed to the public. Updating and installing Internet Protocols are important to the integrity and reliability of your Internet connections.

Click the "Start" button at the bottom of your desktop screen.
