There are any number of reasons why you might want to make multiple Grindr profiles. Some users keep alternate accounts for use when traveling, to explore kink or to maintain a public-facing account for making friends in the gay community rather than beginning romantic relationships. Unfortunately, however, in an ongoing attempt to reduce spam and remove fraudulent accounts from the service, Grindr doesn't allow users to easily switch from account to account within the app. There are a handful of ways to get around this, most of which require third-party apps or computer software.
Multi-Account Troubles on Grindr
Video of the Day
As it stands, there is no multi-account support on Grindr. That isn't to say that the app bans the use of multiple accounts, only that the app discourages it. If you have a second email, you can use the Grindr login and sign-up screen to create a second account on the app. However, attempting to switch accounts in the Grindr app will, by default, result in the deletion of the chat history and media associated with the account you're switching from. For some, this isn't a problem, but it can be inconvenient. To get around the issue, you'll need to avoid logging in and out of the app.

Alternate Devices and App Cloners
Because Grindr deletes data only when you log out of your account, the easiest way to maintain a second Grindr account is to use a second device. By logging in to a second account on a tablet or spare smart phone, you can use an alternate account without losing the benefits and data associated with your original. This does, however, tie use of that account to the second device. If you want to use multiple Grindr accounts on the same device, you can use an app cloner like Parallel Space, downloaded from Google Play or the App Store. App cloner (multi-instance) apps like Parallel Space allow you to run multiple instances of the same app, giving you the ability to stay logged into multiple accounts at once. Once you've downloaded your preferred app, simply follow the instructions included to clone Grindr. You will then be able to open the second instance of the app and use your second account freely.
Using Grindr on a Computer
Though it involves an unconventional method, it's also possible to use Grindr through your desktop or laptop computer. To do this, you'll need to install an iOS or Android emulator program. Once configured, you'll be able to run the emulator to install and open Grindr as you would on any other smart device. However, keep in mind that using this method to maintain a second Grindr account may result in strange results. If your computer can't connect to a GPS satellite, your WiFi network will be used to roughly approximate your location, which may result in Grindr connections outside your preferred distances.
