You can place two pictures side-by-side in a single file by using the native program MS Paint. This program is already loaded on your Microsoft Windows computer and you don't have to download any new software. You can also edit a file that already has two photos to make the pictures line up better.
Step 1
Click "Start" in Windows and select "All programs," followed by "Accessories."

Step 2
Select "Paint" to load the picture editor. Right-click on a picture you want and select "Copy." Select "Edit" in Paint. Click "Paste" to add the picture to the program. Repeat the process for the second picture.
Step 3
Click on the second picture and drag it so that it's right next to the first picture. If you already have a file with two pictures, select "File" and then "Open" in Paint. Double-click the picture file.
Step 4
Click the star-shaped button in the top-left corner of the Paint tool bar. Click to one side of one of the picturs and draw a line around it as close as you can. This will "cut" the picture out of the file. You can then move it around and put it back down in a place beside the first picture.
Step 5
Click "File" and select "Save" to save your picture.
