The LogMeIn Rescue applet can be very useful to you as a user, or a system administrator. However, you may not wish to keep the applet installed after making use of it. As an administrator, you have the option of giving users an automated uninstallation option for their phones. This conveniently saves them from having to manually do it on their phones. The uninstall process varies with every model; not all users are familiar with it. As a user of the applet, you can uninstall it from your system at any time, but you'll need administrative rights and you'll have to do it manually.
