Use your operating system's rename command to change the name of a ZIP file.

ZIP is one of the most widely used data compression and archive formats. Instead of forcing users to send multiple files individually, it allows them to combine and compress one or more files into a single ZIP archive. Because ZIP files exist on your system in the same manner as all other files, renaming them requires no special steps. Whether you use the Microsoft Windows or Apple Mac OS X operating system, simply use the system's native renaming command to change the name of a ZIP file.
