After 3,800 hours, a Mitsubishi projector will display a message warning you to replace its lamp. After 4,000 hours, the projector will shut off and will not turn on again. Replacing the lamp isn't enough. After installing a new lamp, you also have to reset the projector's lamp operation time in order to make it turn on again.
