If you need to reset the password for your Epson printer's "EpsonNet" configuration interface, you can do so from within the interface. If you remember your password, you can simply enter the interface and change the password. If you have forgotten your EpsonNet password, you must first reset your printer to its default settings to clear the existing password.

Step 1
Turn on the printer and network interface device. The devices must be powered on to access EpsonNet Config.

Press and hold the red "Status Sheet" button on the back of the network interface device to print a status sheet containing the device's network information, including the IP address.
Step 3
Open a web browser, type your printer's IP address in the address bar and press "Enter."
Step 4
Select "Password" from the "Configuration - Optional" menu.
Step 5
Enter your existing password in the "Old Password" field, enter your new password in the "New Password" and "New Password (again)" fields and click "Apply."
Reset Forgotten Password
Step 1
Turn on your printer and network interface device and wait until the status light and data light turn off.
Step 2
Press and hold the red "Status Sheet" button on the back of the network interface device until the green light flashes and turns on. Doing this will reset the device to its default settings.
Step 3
Press and hold the "Status Sheet" button again to print a status sheet containing the device's network information, including the IP address.
Step 4
Open a web browser, type your printer's IP address in the address bar and press "Enter."
Step 5
Select "Password" from the "Configuration - Optional" menu.
Step 6
Leave the "Old Password" field blank, enter your new password in the "New Password" and "New Password (again)" fields and click "Apply."
