Shopping online may be a hit-or-miss experience, especially when the item arrives with missing or damaged parts. As one of the major companies to send money and pay for purchases online, PayPal offers a convenient way to return items to the seller. The buyer prints a return shipping label containing a tracking number, then PayPal sends a confirmation email to both parties. The buyer initially pays for return shipping through a PayPal account, then the seller issues a refund according to the company's policies.
Step 1
Ask the seller via email or telephone if you can return the item and if the company will pay for return shipping. Inquire about additional policies, such as including a reason for the return or the original invoice.
