Assigning extensions to a phone system is essential if you work in an office, but you can also use this technology in your home if you have a multi-line phone. Setting up extensions allows you to transfer a call to another phone in your home or office. The recipient can answer the call on that extension without tying up your phone line. You can set up extensions on your phone through your phone menu.
Step 1
Press the "Menu/Set" key. Scroll down the menu and highlight "Phone setup." Press the "Menu/Set" key to select that option.
