The "tracert" command causes the computer to follow the network path to the destination described in the initial command. In some cases, the traceroute will get stuck if there is a problem with one of the devices in the path. In other cases, the traceroute may take a long time due to an extremely long path or slow network speeds. In these cases, you may need to end the traceroute before it is finished mapping the entire network path.
