You can turn on the TV without a remote.
Even though owning a remote control is convenient for watching television and flipping through channels, you do not need a remote to turn on the TV. Every television has the ability to be turned on and off, regardless of whether there is a remote or not.
Step 1
Approach the TV until you are standing in front of it.

Search for the power button. This button is often located along the bottom panel of the TV, but some flat-panel televisions include the power button facing upward or downward at the top or bottom of the TV's frame.
Step 3
Press the power button fully and release. The TV will turn on.
