The process for viewing pictures on a flash drive is the same as it is for viewing them on your computer. The only difference is that they are accessed from the flash drive's memory, rather than your computer's memory. Because of this, you will not be able to view the pictures on a flash drive unless it is plugged into your computer.
On a Mac

Open the "Finder."

Click on the icon for your flash drive within the "Finder" window.
Step 3
Browse through the files on your flash drive and double-click the picture you would like to view. The picture will automatically open in "Preview," which is a program installed on all Macintosh computers that is used for viewing documents. Alternatively, open the "Preview" program and then drag the file for the picture you would like to view into the preview icon that appears in your Dock.
On a PC
Step 1
Click the "Start" button and open "My Computer."
Step 2
Double-click on the icon for your flash drive within the "My Computer" window.
Step 3
Browse through the files on your flash drive and double-click the picture you would like to view. The picture will automatically open in "Photo Viewer," which is a program installed on all PCs that is used for viewing images. Alternatively, click "Preview" and select "Windows Photo Viewer" to view your picture.
