
The convenience of digital images have changed the way we take, keep and view pictures. It is not uncommon to be offered a photo CD when developing pictures at your local photo center. These CDs allow you to easily view pictures on your computer and keep a backup in case your prints are lost or damaged.
Step 1

Open your CD/DVD drive and insert your photo CD. Wait a few seconds for your disc to load.

Access your Start menu and click on "Computer" or "My Computer," depending on your operating system.
Step 3

Locate your CD drive. The CD drive is usually designated by "E". Double-click on the drive to access the CD.
Step 4

Open your "Pictures" or "Photos" folder to view your pictures. From this menu you can transfer the photos to you computer.
