Vizio HDTVs have four zoom settings that can be used to change how the picture appears. The default setting is called "Normal," and when it is enabled, the picture is displayed in its native aspect ratio with no zooming. The "Wide" setting stretches a full-screen picture to take up the entire screen. The "Zoom" setting zooms in on any content and removes black bars if they exist. The "Panoramic" setting zooms in on non-HD content to remove black bars. If the picture on your Vizio is stretched, blurry or zoomed in too far, zoom out to resume normal viewing.
Step 1
Turn on the desired content or programming on your Vizio HDTV. Having content playing when you make the zoom setting change will make the difference in zoom levels much more obvious.
