Use a screen capture application to record live stream video.

Live stream video is video and audio content broadcast in real-time over the Internet. It's similar in concept to live broadcast TV. Live stream video can be recorded in one of two ways. A screen capture application may be used to record the video on your computer. Or you could send the video and audio signal from your computer to an external video recording device, such as a DVD recorder.
