AWS Convergence Technologies provides its WeatherBug Web Widget as a free application that you can add to your website to provide current weather conditions. The widget connects to an AWS weather tracking station and is easy to add to your site with a small bit of provided HTML code.

Step 2
Select a widget based on visual appeal, size and the information it provides. All widgets give the current temperature; others add information about precipitation and the next day's forecast. There are two formatting choices for most widget styles: Click on the radio button for HTML.
Step 3
Enter your email address into the form.
Step 4
Choose a location where you would like to monitor the weather. In the "Location" box, enter a city or zip code and then click the "Search" button. A drop-down menu box will open, from which you should choose a location that the service recognizes. Choose a city and then a specific weather tracking station from the drop-down menu choices.
Step 5
Choose whether to report the temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius.
Step 6
Read the "Terms of Use." Check the box to acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms.
Step 7
Click the "Get code" button to go to the page containing your personalized code. Highlight all of the text in the box. Copy it and paste it within the body of your HTML page. Save your page.
Step 8
Upload the HTML page with your WeatherBug code using the same procedures you would use to add any page to your website. The code contains everything that you need. You do not need to upload anything else.
Step 9
Visit your website to view your version of the WeatherBug. Confirm you are satisfied with the way it looks and operates. If not, repeat the process and choose a different widget style.
