The paid versions of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware software feature a real-time protection module that constantly monitors your computer and Web browsing for potential malware threats. While the program runs hidden in the background, there may be times you want to temporarily disable the protection module, such as when you are installing new software. You can disable the module from the application settings or from the desktop taskbar.
