Steven Melendez is an independent journalist with a background in technology. He has an undergraduate degree in computer science and his work has appeared in a variety of technology publications including Vice's Motherboard, Fast Company and the MIT Technology Review. He was awarded the Knight Foundation scholarship to Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
