Netflix is an Internet service that allows you to rent DVDs via a website. Users create profiles, then add DVDs to their queue. Netflix sends you the DVDs in the order in which they appear in your queue. If you share a Netflix account with other people, however, you may find it easier to create individual user profiles on your account. Netflix user profiles allow multiple people to create individual DVD queues with the same Netflix account. This way, you and your loved ones can share one account while keeping individual track of the DVDs you've each ordered.
Step 1
Log in to your Netflix account using your primary user name and password.

Step 2
Click the "Your Account & Help" link in the upper right corner of the screen. This link should be in white text next to the full name of your primary account holder.
Step 3
Scroll down to the "Preferences" sub-header of the account page and click the "Account Profiles" link under it.
Step 4
Click the "Add Profile" button.
Step 5
Fill out the details of the new user profile. Include a full real name, as well as a user name and password with which the user can sign in and gender. Designate what maturity level the movies in the user's queue can be. This is useful for parents who want to give younger children or teenagers their own Netflix profiles and DVD queues while ensuring that all the DVDs they can access are age-appropriate.
Step 6
Select how Netflix should address any correspondence, either via email or postal service, intended for the user. Select "Profile Name" if you want Netflix to address mail to the name on the new profile, or select "Primary Account" if you want the mail addressed to the primary account holder.
Step 7
Click the "Save" button to save your changes and create your new profile.
Step 8
Toggle between user profiles on the Netflix dashboard by clicking on the downward arrow next to the account holder's name in the upper right corner. To switch to another user profile, select the user's name from the drop-down menu.
