Microsoft Publisher offers many design tools that let you create any type of publication or document. You can essentially make anything in Publisher, including tickets. The easiest way to make tickets in Microsoft Publisher is to download a ticket template from Microsoft Office's website and modify it in Publisher with your own text, colors and graphics. These steps can be used for creating tickets in both Microsoft Publisher 2003 and 2007.
Step 1
Go to Microsoft Office's website (see Resources section) and click on "Templates" on the blue bar at the top.

Step 2
Scroll down to the "Browse Templates" box and click on "More Categories." Click "Tickets" on the list.
Step 3
Show all of the templates that are available in Publisher by filtering the results. Click "Publisher" from the drop-down menu under "Filter by Product" on the left side of the screen.
Step 4
Click on a template when you find one that you like, then click "Download." Depending on how your system is set up, you may be asked to save the template first or it may simply open up in Publisher.
Step 5
Enter your own text into the template once it is opened in Publisher. Click in the text boxes on the template to enter text. To change the color of the text, highlight it and use the tools under "Format" and "Font" to change the font color.
Step 6
Add graphics to the template. Go to "Insert" and "Picture." To add a photo or other graphic that is saved on your computer, click "From File." To search for and add clip art, select "Clip Art."
Step 7
Delete any extra text boxes or graphics that you do not need by clicking on them and then pressing the "Delete" key.
Step 8
Go to "Format" and "Background" to change or add a background to the ticket. The options for the different types of backgrounds will appear in the box on the left side of the screen. Click on one to apply it to the ticket.
Step 9
Save the ticket and print it out.
