You can delete a network connection.

After you have established a network connection with your computer to a certain network at least one time, the network will continue to appear in the networks list until it is manually removed. While having an inactive connection appear on your computer will not harm it, it can be annoying. The process you use to delete a network connection is similar to the process you use when adding a network connection.
