Sennheiser manufactures a line of high-end stereo headphones for music lovers. The products are famous for delivering audiophile-quality sound. Like any other set of corded headphones, a Sennheiser set must be connected to an audio jack for listening in private. Since relatively few TV sets are equipped with a headphone jack, connecting Sennheiser headphones requires a Y-adapter that converts the two stereo outputs on a TV into a single phone jack to accommodate the Sennheiser. You can buy the adapter at electronics and stereo stores.
Step 1
Insert the two plugs on the Y-adapter into the two audio output jacks on the back panel of the TV. The jacks will typically be colored white and red for left and right.
