The iPhone has a useful feature that allows you to take a picture of what's currently on your screen. This feature comes in handy when you want to send a picture of a new app you're using, or if you want to snap a photo of a conversation instead of using copy and paste. When you take a screenshot, the image saves in your camera roll, from where it can be sent to any recipient you choose.
Step 1
Take a screenshot by holding the home button down and pressing the sleep button on the top of your iPhone. You'll hear what sounds like a picture being taken and your screen will quickly fade out and fade back in.

Press the Home button to return to your home screen.
Step 3
Tap "Photos" to enter the photos application.
Step 4
Select "Camera Roll" to see photos you've taken with your iPhone. Any screenshots you take will be saved in this album.
Step 5
Press the "Edit" button at the top of the screen, select the screenshot or screenshots you'd like to send, and then press the "Share" button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 6
Choose the method you'd like to use to share your screenshots: "Send via Email" or "Send via MMS."
