A lost signal or a few hours of TV remote control inactivity may cause your Samsung TV to automatically reset itself. However, the time information should remain intact unless the clock is not set. Setting the clock is also required for any on/off timer functions to work; otherwise, any time-based information you input will not be saved.

Press the "Enter" button, and then press the "Up" or "Down" button, and select "Clock Set."

Press the "Enter" button, and then press the "Left" or "Right" button, and select "Month."

Press the remote control number buttons to select the number that corresponds with the current month.

Press the "Left" or "Right" button and remote control number buttons to select, and set the remaining "Day" and "Year," "Minute" and "AM/PM" time.
Step 10
Press the "Up" or "Down" button, and select "Return" when finished, and then press the "Exit" button.
